The quiet work of becoming human, taught by horses
At Triple Moon Equestrian, youth and adults learn presence, responsibility and partnership through hands on horsemanship, care, and community. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit learning community where people grow through horses, stewardship and the steady work of relationship.
Located in Monroe, WA. on the beautiful Sultan River
Triple Moon Equestrian's learning community is rooted in care, responsibility, and the way of the horse.
We offer riding lessons, but lessons here are never just about riding. Students learn through hands on care, time on the ground, and building real relationships with horses. Grooming, feeding, observing, and listening are as important as time in the saddle.
Horses don’t respond to force or pretending. They respond to consistency, presence, and respect. Through that process, people of all ages gain confidence, self-awareness, and skills that extend far beyond the barn.
Youth can lower their lesson costs by joining our Immersion Program, a hands on barn experience that turns students into true horse people. Each day they help care for the herd and other animals here, learning what it really takes to keep a barn running and horses happy.
It is not just work, it is connection. They learn responsibility, teamwork, and the quiet magic that comes from earning a horse’s trust. In return for their time and effort, they receive discounted lessons and a deeper understanding of the world they love.
Don't take our word for it
Our herd has spoken, and they would like to file a formal complaint about the state of their winter gear. Between the hay nets that look like lace and the blankets that have survived one too many enthusiastic roll sessions, we are in need of a serious upgrade.
You can help by visiting our Amazon Wish List to replace tattered blankets, worn hay nets, and other barn essentials that keep our horses warm, dry, and slightly less dramatic this winter. Every item you send supports our nonprofit and keeps the herd comfortable through the chilly months.
Your kindness keeps the horses cozy, the humans grateful, and the barn filled with laughter instead of shivering complaints.
