Programs
Youth Lessons (ages 6–17)
For kids who want to truly learn horses, not just ride them.
Our Youth Lessons are designed for students who want to understand the whole picture of horsemanship. Lessons include daily care, safety, grooming, breeds, equipment, and how to notice when something isn’t quite right, alongside groundwork and time in the saddle.
Students learn the real work that supports good riding, including feeding, first aid, stall and paddock care, and teamwork. Horsemanship here goes far beyond the arena.
What to Expect
- Small groups of one to two students
- Lessons run 60–90 minutes depending on the group
- Progress through our Levels Program at an individual pace
- A supportive, steady learning environment
Our year is divided into Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer quarters. We encourage families to commit to at least one full quarter. Many stay longer because it becomes more than lessons. It becomes a community.
Sliding Scale Red Barn Immersion
Our Sliding Scale Red Barn Immersion Program offers youth ages 11-17 the opportunity to lower lesson costs through hands-on participation in daily barn life. Students help care for horses and other animals, learn stable management, and develop responsibility, teamwork, and confidence.
This program is designed for those who want a deeper relationship with horses and are ready to become active stewards of the barn, not just riders. Learn More!
Adult Lessons
For adults who want a calm, supportive approach to learning with horses.
Our adult lessons welcome beginners and returning riders alike. Instruction includes English, Dressage, and Western, with an emphasis on safety, connection, and confidence. Lessons begin on the ground and progress thoughtfully into the saddle, building understanding, balance, and trust at your pace.
Lessons are relaxed but purposeful, blending horsemanship skills with body awareness and mindfulness. This is a space for riders who want to feel empowered, not rushed or intimidated.
What to expect
- One-hour lessons
- Groundwork and riding
- All experience levels welcome
Farm & Pony Program
A gentle introduction to horses and farm life for young learners.
Our Farm and Pony program blends fun, learning, and hands-on care with our ponies and farm animals. Students brush, feed, lead, and learn about safety while exploring the barn and the rhythm of farm life.
This program is designed to build confidence naturally through curiosity, responsibility, and connection. Lessons include both groundwork and riding at a pace that matches each child.
Come ready to smile, get a little muddy, and fall in love with the barn.
